Who am I?

My chosen name is Reign Louis Lorem Simpson, I was born August 21st, 1995 to a house with three older brothers. Being the only girl and the youngest of four affected my struggles with gender. I first had an inkling of who I was when I was in Jr. High but never really had a name or an idea for what I was feeling until High School. However, even in High School, I was afraid, I struggle with OCD, Anxiety, and Dysmorphia which can make my feelings towards bodily autonomy complicated. I came out at the beginning of 2018, at that time I was engaged and that engagement was dissolved after I came out. I lost friends and the support of some family members after I came out. I lost the close relationship I had with my niece because of my eldest brother's close-mindedness. But I refuse to let any of that prevent me from living my truth. I am a proud 23-year-old transgender man. I have a wonderful non-binary Girlfriend now who I love more than anything and a queer Teenager that I mentor online. 

I am in University in Nova Scotia, Canada working towards a Bachelor of Arts Degree that I hope to finish in 2020. After that, I plan to apply to both the Teaching program at the school I am at as well as the Social Work Degree at another University in the city and then decide from there where I want to go with it. I know one thing, I want to continue helping Queer youth. I am also a Writer and a Photographer.
